Sermorelin

Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino-acid peptide corresponding to the biologically active N-terminal fragment of endogenous human growth hormone-releasing hormone, GHRH(1-29)-NH2. This fragment retains the full GH-releasing activity of the parent 44-residue hormone, making Sermorelin one of the most established GHRH-analog research tools for probing pulsatile growth-hormone secretion from the anterior pituitary.

In laboratory model systems, Sermorelin binds and activates the GHRH receptor, triggering cAMP-mediated signaling and GH release.
